Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Priestfield Stadium will host Tuesday’s football match between Gillingham City and Cambridge United. The Gills are fighting hard to secure the League One survival, and they are likely to leave their hearts on the field. Both Daniel Adshead and Alexander MacDonald are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home side. The U’s, on the other hand, aim to make amends for a 2-0 loss to Bolton Wanderers.
Cambridge United have slim chances of booking their place in the playoffs, and given their anything but brilliant away record, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. All Greg Taylor, Shilow Tracey, Lloyd Jones, and Joe Ironside are sidelined with injuries for the away team. In the first half of the season Gillingham defeated Cambridge United 2-0.
