Bristol Rovers
After playing out a goalless draw with Wigan, Ipswich Town will be looking to return to winning ways in the League One when they take on Bristol Rovers on Matchday 39. The Tractor Boys aim to put an end to their three-game winless run, and given their fine record at Portman Road, home win should definitely be considered. James Norwood, who has netted six goals so far this season, is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts.
The Pirates, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, with the team losing each of their previous four league fixtures. Bristol Rovers have been struggling in front of goal of late, and we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Ipswich’s party at Portman Road. Born in Waunarlwydd, Wales on March 28, 1991, David Cornell is a goalkeeper who plays for Northampton Town in the League Two. The 180-cm tall shot-stopper is a product of the Swansea City football school, but he did not make any appearances for the Swans at senior level.
Cornell played for the likes of Port Talbot Town, Hereford United, St. Mirren, and Portsmouth on loan before signing a permanent contract with Oldham Athletic in the 2015/2016 season. In the summer of 2016, he joined Northampton Town on a two-year deal.
Speaking of his international career, David Cornell has three caps with the Wales U21 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the senior team. The Northampton Town goalkeeper wears the number 1 jersey, and his preferred foot is right. He has a contract with the Cobblers until June 30, 2020.
