Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Luton Town will be looking to make amends for a 2-1 loss to Bradford City when they host Wigan Athletic to their Kenilworth Road on Matchday 4. The Hatters are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but they will have to prove their worth on the field in Tuesday’s encounter. It has to be noted, though, that all Adebayo, Brown, Lockyer, Mengi, Odoffin, and Walters are out of contention with injuries for the home team.
The Latics, on the other hand, did well to beat both Northampton Town and Peterborough in the previous two home games, but given their difficulties on the road, we are tempted to bet on Luton Town this time out. In their first away win of the process, Wigan Athletic suffered a 2-0 loss to Leyton Orient. Speaking of the visiting team, Fraser Murray is widely expected to replace right-back Isaac Mbaya in the starting XI, while fellow defender James Carragher is a major doubt.
