MK Dons will be aiming to finish the season in great manner when they take on Rochdale at Stadium MK on Sunday afternoon. The Dons have been in a fine form in the season finale, with the team collecting ten points in total from the previous four league fixtures, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as favourites to win Sunday’s clash. Talented midfielder Matthew O’Riley, who suffered an injury in the 1-1 draw with Fleetwood, is unlikely to feature against Rochdale.
The Dale, on the other hand, suffered a 2-1 loss to Doncaster at the weekend, with the Donny ruining their survival hopes. The visitors have been struggling at the back of late, and, taking everything into account, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling MK Dons’ party at Stadium MK. In the first half of the season MK Dons crushed Rochdale 4-1 at Spotland Stadium.
Highlighted Player (Richard Keogh):
Richard Keogh is an English player, who has a deal with Derby County. The 188-cm-tall defender started his senior career in 2004 as he signed for Stoke City, but he was immediately sent on loan to Vikingur. After making nine appearances for the Icelandic club, he joined Bristol City in 2005.
Keogh made his Bristol City debut on 3 September, 2005 in a goalless draw with Colchester United. The Derby County defender then spent several seasons on loan at Wycombe, Huddersfield, Carlisle and Cheltenham before signing a permanent deal with Carlisle. Richard Keogh signed a three-year deal with Coventry City and he made 46 appearances for the club in the 2010/2011 Championship campaign.
Keogh played 45 games for Coventry in the 2011/2012 season and on July 2012 he joined Derby County. The defender made 178 appearances for the Rams until the 2016/2017 Championship campaign and he netted one goal for the iPro Stadium outfit. Keogh made his Republic of Ireland debut on 6 February, 2013 in a friendly game against Poland.

Nicknamed the Dale, Rochdale are a professional English club that compete in the League One (English third tier). Rochdale were founded back in 1907, after World War I, with the team beating Accrington Stanley 6-3 in their first league game 14 years later.
The Dale wear blue shirts with black stripes and blue shorts when playing at home, whilst gray is the dominant colour of their away kit. Spotland Stadium is the club’s home ground, with the venue holding no more than 10,249 spectators. Bury and Oldham Athletic are considered the club’s fiercest rivals, but they have built up rivalries with the likes of Halifax Town, Burnley, Stockport County, Wigan Athletic and Accrington Stanley as well.
Back in 1962 Rochdale made it to the Football League Cup final, with the team facing Norwich City in the title game. The Canaries proved to be a big catch for the Dale, but this is still considered the club’s biggest success. It has to be noted that the Spotland Stadium outfit have three Lancashire Cup titles as well (1948/1949, 1970/1971, 2004/2005).
