Kassam Stadium will host Thursday’s League One game between Oxford United and Charlton Athletic, the two teams who are almost level on points in the standings. The Yellows do not seem to be at the top of their game, with the team failing to win the last four league fixtures, and they must be low on spirits ahead of the visit of Charlton. Both Yanic Wildschut and Josh Murphy have recovered from their respective injuries.
The Red Robins, on the other hand, did well to shock Premier League side Brighton in the EFL Cup last 16, but they collected only one point in total from the last four league fixtures. Since important attacker Chuks Aneke remains on the sidelines with injury, we do not believe that the capital club are capable of grabbing more than one point from the last game of the year.

Yanic-Sonny Wildschut is a Dutch football player who was born in Amsterdam on 1 November, 1991. He was part of Ajax academy during his youth career and he made his senior debut for Zwolle in the Jupiler League. After playing 33 matches for Zwolle, the pacey winger joined VVV-Venlo on 29 June, 2011 and in 2013 he moved to Heerenveen.
He was soon sent on loan to ADO Den Haag and after making seven appearances for the club, he joined English side Middlesbrough on 1 September, 2014. Wildschut scored his first goal for the Boro in a 3-0 victory over Rotherham on 1 November, 2014. However, he played just 12 games for Middlesbrough in the Championship.
On 2 October, 2015 he was sent on loan to Wigan Athletic and three months later he signed a permanent deal with the Latics. You should have in mind that Yanic has 10 caps for Netherlands U21 team. Wildschut is a winger, but he is capable of playing as a centre forward as well.

Charlton Athletic are yet another capital club that will compete in the 2019/2020 Championship season. Founded back in 1905, the Red Robins welcome their opponents at the Valley, the stadium which can hold up to 28,111 spectators. Charlton Athletic wear red shirts and white shorts when playing on home soil, whereas black is the dominant colour of their away kit.
Winning of the 1946/1947 FA Cup trophy is considered the club’s biggest success. The Red Robins defeated Burnley 1-0 in the title game, with Chris Duffy scoring the winner for Jimmy Seed’s charges in extra-time.
Fellow capital clubs Crystal Palace and Millwall are regarded as Charlton’s fiercest rivals, whilst Samuel Bartram, who made 579 appearances for the club is one of the most famous footballers who played for the Valley outfit.
