Our prediction for this League 1 match:
All eyes will be on Home Park when Plymouth and Peterborough face each other in the League One round 31. The Pilgrims sit in top ten in the League One standings, and they are only five points behind the playoffs berth ahead of the visit of Peterborough. Both George Cooper and Gary Sawyer are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Posh, on the other hand, are determined to secure automatic promotion to the Championship, with the team eyeing their fifth consecutive win in the League One. Since both sides are likely to go for a win in the midweek clash, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. Peterborough boss Darren Ferguson has no fresh injury worries, and he is unlikely to make changes to the team that outplayed AFC Wimbledon 3-0 at the weekend.
Highlighted Player (Scott Wootton):
After spending his youth career at English giants Liverpool and Manchester United, Scott Wootton played for the likes of Tranmere Rovers, Peterborough United, and Nottingham Forest on loan at senior level. In the summer of 2013, the defender signed a three-year deal with Leeds United.

In August 2016, the English footballer joined League 1 club Milton Keynes Dons, signing a two-year deal with the Stadium MK outfit. Nowadays, Scott Wootton plays for Plymouth Argyle in the League Two, where he wears the number 5 jersey.
Scott Wootton’s primary position is a centre-back, but he is capable of producing fine performances at right-back as well. The 188-cm tall defender, whose preferred foot is right, has three caps for the England U17 team. Scott Wootton was born in Birkenhead, England, on September 12, 1991.
Highlighted Team (Peterborough):
Founded in 1934, Peterborough United are a professional club that competes in the League One. The Posh play their home games at London Road Stadium, the venue with the capacity of 15,314. Peterborough’s home colour is blue, whilst the colour of their away kit is blue. The Posh have the third kit as well where yellow and black are the dominant colours.
Peterborough United’s biggest success came in the 1964/1965 when the club booked their place in the FA Cup quarter-finals. Chelsea, though, proved to be a big catch for the Posh, beating them 5-1 in London. It has to be noted that Peterborough United made it to the Football League Cup semis in the 1965/1966 season, with the team losing to WBA in the two-legged tie.
The likes of Cambridge United and Northampton Town are considered the club’s main rivals. The Posh have built a rivalry with Huddersfield Town, with fans seeing MK Dons as rivals as well.
