Our prediction for this League 1 match:
Stevenage will be aiming to extend their winning run to four games in all competitions when they face Exeter in the League One round 30. The Boro have been in a splendid form of late and a triumph over Exeter will see them revive their playoffs hopes. Both Kane Smith and Eli King are major doubts as the duo limped off with injuries in the midweek triumph. The likes of Nick Freeman and Charlie Goode are in line for recalls to the starting XI.
The Grecians, on the other hand, do not seem to be at their sharpest. As Exeter have collected only one point in total from the last five league matches, we believe that there is a big value in betting on Gary Caldwell’s troops. As Exeter defeated Stevenage 2-0 at St James Park earlier this season, the hosts must be hungry for revenge. A man to watch in the away team will be Millenic Alli, who scored a brace in a heavy 6-2 loss to Leyton Orient on Tuesday evening.
Highlighted Team (Stevenage):
Based in Hertfordshire, England, Stevenage Borough are a professional club that compete in the League Two. The Boro are well known for their red and white home hit, while dark blue is the dominant colour of their away kit. Stevenage play their home games at Broadhall Way, the stadium which can hold up to 6,722 spectators and they were founded in 1976.
The Boro have won FA Trophy on two occasions (2006/07, 2008/09), with the team clinching the Herts Senior Cup title in the 2008/09 season thanks to a 2-1 win over Cheshunt. Luton are considered one of the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in matches between the two sides.
In 2015 fighting broke out between rival fans near to the end of the clash at the Lamex. It has to be noted that Stevenage Borough were founded in 1976 after the bankruptcy of Stevenage Athletic.
