Accrington will be looking to bounce back from a 3-0 loss to Mansfield when they take on Sutton on Matchday 8. The Accy Stanley have been slipping down the standings week by week, but despite sitting in 15th place, they are only two points behind the playoffs berth. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team, but Joseph Gubbins should sneak into the starting XI.
The Yellows, on the other hand, do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team losing each of their last six league matches. As Sutton experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 5-3 loss to Swindon Town, we are tempted to put our money on Accrington. Founded back in 1891 and reformed in 1968, Accrington Stanley are an English football club that compete in the League One. The original team competed in the Football League from 1921 to 1962, spending the last four seasons in Lancashire Combination.
The Accy are well known for their red home kit, whilst they wear sky blue shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. The League One side play their home games at Crown Ground, the stadium which can hold up to 5,450 spectators (3,100 seated). Accrington have been playing at Crown Ground since 1970.
