Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Colchester United will look to make amends for back-to-back losses to Bradford City and AFC Wimbledon when they face MK Dons on Matchday 4. The U’s have been struggling to find their form of late, but Saturday’s clash could be the turning point for Ben Garner’s troops. Both Fevrie and Akinde are pushing for a start after the duo came off the bench in the midweek defeat.
The Dons, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 2-1 loss to Crawley Town. As both sides will go for a victory in this match, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. Mohamed Eisa continues to impress in the 2023/2024 League One season and we predict that the 29-year-old MK Dons forward is going to prove a handful for the opposition back-line. You should know that under 2.5 goals have been netted in four of the previous five meetings between the two teams.
Highlighted Player (Mo Eisa):
Born on the 12th of July, 1994, in Khartoum, Sudan, Mo Eisa is a Sudanese professional footballer who plays for Peterborough United in the third tier of English Football. The 6ft tall striker/ winger is a Pro Touch Soccer Academy product.

On the 7th of July, 2017, Eisa signed a contract with League Two outfit Cheltenham Town and made his league debut on the 5th of August, 2017.
A prolific season with the Robins earned him the Supporters' Player Of The Year and the Players' Player Of The Year awards at the end of the season. For the 18/19 season, the 25-year-old joined Championship side Bristol for a brief stint before returning to League One with Peterborough for the following season on a four-year contract.
Highlighted Team (Colchester):
Founded in 1937, Colchester United are a professional football club that compete in the League Two, the English fourth tier. The U’s welcome their rivals at Colchester Community Stadium, the venue which has the capacity of 10,105 people.
Colchester United are well known for their blue kit, but white is the dominant colour of their away kit. The U’s have an official fans association known as the CUSA. Colchester supporters consider Wycombe Wanderers the club’s fiercest rivals, but the rivalries with Southend United and Ipswich Town are big as well. Colchester United did well to win the FA Trophy in the 1991/92 season, with the team clinching the Essex Senior Cup trophy in the 2009/10 season.
In December 1961 the U’s recorded their biggest win, with the team rolling over Bradford City 9-1 in the Fourth Division. Colchester United repeated the success 44 years later as they hammered Leamington 9-1 in the FA Cup round 1.
