Colchester United and Salford City go head to head at Colchester Community Stadium on day 10 of the new League Two campaign. The U’s have been playing some low-scoring games of late, with the team failing to find the net in the previous two league fixtures. Experienced attacker Frank Nouble should continue to lead the line for the hosts despite not being rested in the EFL Trophy win over West Ham U21.

The English footballer moved to Wolverhampton in the 2018/2019 season, but he did not see any game action in the league with the Wolves. After ending his loan spells with Colchester United and Jumilla, Ben Stevenson signed a permanent two-and-a-half year contract with the U’s on January 30, 2019. He made his second debut for Colchester United against Northampton Town on February 2, 2019.
His primary position is central midfield, but he is capable of producing good performances as a defensive midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right, and he wears the number 24 shirt at Colchester.
