Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Colchester United and Stevenage face each other at Colchester Community Stadium on day 41 of the 2021/22 League Two campaign. The U’s are eyeing their third consecutive league win, but the lack of motivation could prove to be a big problem for the home side. Head coach Wayne Brown is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated Harrogate at the weekend.
The Boro, on the other hand, are desperate to escape the relegation zone. Stevenage are on a four-game losing run, and seeing that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s clash, both teams to score betting option should be considered. In the first half of the season the Boro defeated the U’s thanks to Elliott List’s goal from the penalty spot, but an interesting game is on the horizon this time out.
Highlighted Player (Frank Nouble):
Born in Lewisham, London on September 24, 1991, Frank Nouble is a product of the Chelsea football academy. Despite spending his youth career at the capital club, he did not see any game action with the Blues at senior level. Frank Nouble started his senior career at West Ham United, but he made no more than 13 league appearances for the Hammers.
Nowadays, he plays for Colchester United in the League Two. Frank Nouble, who has eight caps with the England U19 team, made his debut with the U’s on August 4, 2018, in a goalless draw with Notts County. He scored his first goal with Colchester United on September 15, 2018, in a 3-0 victory over Cambridge United.
Nouble’s primary position is centre-forward, but he is used as both left and right winger as well. The 190-cm-tall footballer wears the number 45 jersey at Colchester United, and his preferred foot is right.
Highlighted Team (Stevenage):
Based in Hertfordshire, England, Stevenage Borough are a professional club that compete in the League Two. The Boro are well known for their red and white home hit, while dark blue is the dominant colour of their away kit. Stevenage play their home games at Broadhall Way, the stadium which can hold up to 6,722 spectators and they were founded in 1976.
The Boro have won FA Trophy on two occasions (2006/07, 2008/09), with the team clinching the Herts Senior Cup title in the 2008/09 season thanks to a 2-1 win over Cheshunt. Luton are considered one of the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in matches between the two sides.
In 2015 fighting broke out between rival fans near to the end of the clash at the Lamex. It has to be noted that Stevenage Borough were founded in 1976 after the bankruptcy of Stevenage Athletic.
