The U’s have been impressive at the back of late, with the team eyeing their fourth consecutive clean sheet, and they are likely to rely on their rock-solid defence in Saturday’s encounter. Since Colchester are seven points clear of the relegation zone, they should be happy with one point from the match. Teenage forward Samson Tovide is widely expected to return to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in a goalless draw with Crawley.
The visitors, on the other hand, suffered a dip in form, and, as a result, they will not take part in the League Two playoffs. Sutton are eager to put an end to their four-match losing run, but we do not believe that they are capable of picking up more than one point from Saturday’s clash. The pacey forward scored his first goal for the national team in a 3-0 win over Guinea on February 1, 2015. Appiah started his club career at Ebbsfleet United, but the list of clubs he played for is pretty long.
Appiah wore Peterborough United, Weymouth, King’s Lynn, Kettering Town, Brackley Town, Thurrock, Margate, Crystal Palace, Aldershot Town, Yeovil Town, Cambridge United, Notts County, Reading and Viking shirts before signing a permanent deal with AFC Wimbledon in 2017. His main position is centre-forward, but he is capable of producing fine performances as both second striker and left winger as well.
