The People’s Pension Stadium will host a postponed League Two game between Crawley Town and Oldham Athletic, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the season finale. The Red Devils aim to keep their playoffs hopes alive, while the Latics are eager to escape the relegation zone. Crawley Town did well to beat league leaders Forest Green 2-1 at the weekend, and, as a result, the bookies see them as favourites to win the midweek clash.
Both Kwesi Appiah and Jake Hessenthaler should miss out with injuries, while Ashley Nadesan should replace Aramide Oteh in the starting XI as the later limped off with injury at the weekend. The Latics, on the other hand, are undefeated in the previous six league fixtures, which is probably the main reason why we are going to put our money on draw. John Sheridan is unlikely to make changes to the team that shared the spoils with Colchester United on Matchday 34.

Born in Thamesmead, England on August 12, 1990, Kwesi Appiah is a professional footballer who plays for AFC Wimbledon in the League One. Due to his dual citizenship, Appiah is eligible to play for Ghana and he made his debut with the Black Stars in a 2-1 win over South Africa on January 27, 2015.
The pacey forward scored his first goal for the national team in a 3-0 win over Guinea on February 1, 2015. Appiah started his club career at Ebbsfleet United, but the list of clubs he played for is pretty long.
Appiah wore Peterborough United, Weymouth, King’s Lynn, Kettering Town, Brackley Town, Thurrock, Margate, Crystal Palace, Aldershot Town, Yeovil Town, Cambridge United, Notts County, Reading and Viking shirts before signing a permanent deal with AFC Wimbledon in 2017. His main position is centre-forward, but he is capable of producing fine performances as both second striker and left winger as well.

Based in Oldham, Greater Manchester, Oldham Athletic are a professional football club that compete in League Two. The Latics play their home matches at Boundary Park, the venue with the capacity of 13,512 spectators. Oldham Athletic are well known for their blue and white home kit, with the owl being the symbol of the club.
The Latics did remarkably well to make it to the League Cup final in 1990, but Nottingham Forest proved to be a big catch for Joe Royle’s troops in the title game.
