Port Vale play host to Tranmere Rovers at their Vale Park in what is expected to be one of the most exciting fixtures of Saturday’s program. The Valiants aim to make amends for a 1-0 loss to Northampton, but they face a difficult task in their first home game of the season. Considering that first-choice goalkeeper Lucas Covolan misses the match through suspension, home win should not be considered.
The Super Whites, on the other hand, did remarkably well to beat Walsall in the opening match of the season. Even though Tranmere Rovers will be without talented midfielder Chris Merrie in Saturday’s game, we predict that they will hold Port Vale to a draw at Vale Park. David Amoo made his League Two debut with Port Vale on August 3, 2019, in a 1-1 draw with Colchester United.
He scored his first goal for the Valiants in a 1-1 draw with Northampton Town seven days later. His primary position is a right winger, but he is often used as both left winger and second striker. David Amoo has dual citizenship (England/Nigeria).

Tranmere were founded back in 1884 under the name of Belmont FC, with the football arms of cricket clubs Lyndhurst Wanderers and Belmont coming together. Nowadays Tranmere Rovers play their home games at Prenton Park, the venue which can hold up to 15,567 people. The Rovers wear white shirts and blue shorts in home matches, but back in the 19th century orange and red were the dominating colours on their kit.
