Rochdale and Crawley Town go head to head at Spotland Stadium in the League Two round 11. The Dale aim to make amends for back-to-back losses to Oldham and Bradford City, but they face a difficult task in Saturday’s football game. The Dale are eyeing their second home win of the process, but, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from the match as well.
The Red Devils, on the other hand, are only one point behind the playoffs berth. Crawley Town aim to bounce back from a 2-1 loss to Tranmere, and they should take advantage of Rochdale’s poor form. Experienced attacker Kwesi Appiah is pushing for a start after finding the net in the defeat to the Super Whites, while defender Ludwig Francillette is out of contention after limping off with injury in the last league match.

Ryan McLaughlin is a Northern Ireland international who plays for Rochdale in the League One as a right-back. McLaughlin started his youth career at Glenavon back in 2009 and two years later he was spotted by Liverpool scouts, who persuaded him to join the Reds youth academy.
However, instead of playing for Liverpool at senior level, the Northern Ireland defender spent two seasons on loan at Barnsley and Aberdeen before moving to Oldham Athletic. After scoring three goals in 52 league appearances for the club, Ryan McLaughlin joined Rochdale in 2019 for an undisclosed fee.
McLaughlin made his League One debut with the Dale on January 26, 2019 in a 2-1 loss at Barnsley. Speaking of his international career, the pacey right-back made his Northern Ireland debut on May 31, 2014 in a friendly against Uruguay. It has to be noted that the Rochdale defender can be used as both left-back and right midfielder as well.

The club was founded back in 1896 and in the 2011/2012 season they secured promotion to the English fourth tier for the first time. The Devils play their home games at Broadfield Stadium, the venue which was built and opened in 1997.
The stadium has a capacity of 6,144 spectators and is owned by Crawley Borough Council. Crawley Town are well known for their red home kit, with the team wearing white shirts and sky blue shorts when playing on the travels.
