Salford City will look to make amends for a 3-2 loss to Crawley Town when they face Walsall in a postponed fixture. The Lions are now seven points behind automatic promotion berth, meaning that Tuesday’s clash is of big importance for the home side. Experienced midfielder Matthew Lund is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in the last league match.
The Saddlers, on the other hand, are sitting in the middle of the table with three games in hand. Walsall aim to rejoin the playoffs race, but beating Salford City at Peninsula Stadium is easier said than done.
