Our prediction for this League 2 match:
All eyes will be on Peninsula Stadium when Salford and Walsall face each other in the League Two derby. The Lions recorded a very important 1-0 win over Harrogate at the weekend, with the team regaining their spot in top seven. Salford aim to keep on climbing the standings, and we are positive that they will go for a win in the League Two derby. Experienced attacker Ian Henderson is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts against Walsall.
The Saddlers, on the other hand, are on a four-game winning run in the League Two. Walsall have been scoring goals for fun of late, and seeing that Salford are a real force to be reckoned with at home, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. It has to be noted that six goals in total have been netted in the previous two meetings between the two clubs.
Highlighted Player (Richie Towell):

Richie Towell is a professional footballer who was born in Dublin, Ireland on July 17, 1991. After starting his youth career at Crumlin United, Towell was spotted by Celtic scouts in 2007, and he decided to join the famous Scottish outfit.
However, he made only one appearance for the Hoops at senior level, coming as a substitute for Jos Hooiveld in a 2-2 draw with Inverness in November 2010. Ritchie Towell played for the likes of Hibernian (loan), Dundalk, Brighton, and Rotherham United (loan) as well before signing a deal with his current club Salford City.
The Salford City midfielder has nine caps with the Republic of Ireland U21 team, but he has yet to earn a call-up with the senior team. His primary position is central midfield, but he is used as an attacking midfielder as well. Richie Towell has two Irish Premier League trophies with Dundalk (2013, 2014).
Highlighted Team (Walsall):

Founded in 1888, Walsall are a professional club that play home matches at Bescot Stadium. The capacity of the venue is 11,300 people and it was opened in 1990. Nicknamed the Saddlers, Walsall footballers wear red shirts and white shorts when playing in front of home fans, while black is the dominant colour of their away kit.
Walsall played out a goalless draw with Aston Villa on April 9, 1888 in their first ever game, with the team recording their biggest win on March 4, 1899 against Darwen (10-0). The Saddlers suffered their biggest defeat on December 17, 1892 as they were beaten by Small Heath 12-0.
Walsall fans consider wolverhampton wanderers the club’s biggest rivals, but the Saddlers have rivalries with Shrewsbury Town and Port Vale as well as the two clubs are only 30 miles away from Walsall. Crystal Palace centre-back Scott Dann is one of the most notable footballers who played for the Bescot Stadium.
