Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Swindon Town and Grimsby Town square off against each other at County Ground in what is expected to be a close League Two encounter. The Robins aim to recover from a 1-0 loss to Colchester, but you should know that they are on a four-match winless run on home soil. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team ahead of Saturday’s clash, but forward Rushian Hepburn-Murphy is pushing for a rare start.
The Black and Whites, on the other hand, did well to beat Stockport County thanks to Otis Khan’s goal, but given their four-match losing run on the road, we do not believe that the visitors are capable of grabbing more than one point from the County Ground showdown. Talented forward Lewis Richardson could sneak into the starting XI after scoring the winner in the FA Cup triumph over Burton.
Highlighted Player (Jonny Williams):
Jonathan Williams is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Wales National Team and Charlton Athletic. Born on the 9th of October 1993, the Turnbridge local joined Crystal Palace's youth academy in 2002 and after impressive displays with the reserve team, signed a professional contract with the club in 2011.
He made his first professional appearance for the Eagles on the 16th of August, coming on a substitute in a game against Coventry City. Williams then scored his maiden professional goal a month later in a League Cup game against Wigan Athletic. In total, the dynamic midfielder spent eight years at Palace, making 70 appearances in all competitions for the club. He also had loan spells at Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, Milton Keynes Dons, and Sunderland during that time. On the 4th of January, 2019, the 26-year old joined current club Charlton on an initial six-month deal before rejoining them for the 18/19 season.
Internationally, Williams has capped for Wales under-17, under-18, and under-19 teams before progressing to Wales's senior squad on the 3rd of October, 2011. He made his international debut on the 22nd of March, 2013, as a second-half substitute against Scotland.
Highlighted Team (Grimsby):
Founded back in 1878 as Grimsby Pelham, Grimsby Town are a professional football club that compete in League Two, the English fourth tier. Grimsby Town welcome their opponents at Blundell Park, the stadium which has the capacity of 9,027 people (all seated).

Grimsby Town made it to the FA Trophy final on two occasions (2012/13, 2015/16), but they have yet to win the title in the competition. The likes of Hull City and Scunthorpe United are regarded as the club’s main rivals.
The Pilgrims registered their biggest win on September 4, 1925, as they crushed Tranmere Rovers 8-0. Speaking of their heaviest loss, Grimsby Town were beaten by Arsenal 9-1 on January 28, 1931.
