Our prediction for this League 2 match:
All eyes will be on County Ground when Swindon Town and Port Vale go head to head in the League Two playoffs, first leg. The Robins are eyeing their fifth consecutive league win, but this match will be anything but a walk in the park for the home side. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Jack Payne, who scored a brace in the last league fixture, while both Jordan Lyden and Brandon Cooper should miss out with injuries.
The Valiants, on the other hand, proved their worth in a hard-fought 1-0 win over Exeter. Port Vale aim to give fans yet another reason for celebration, but given Swindon’s splendid form, we predict that the visitors will return home empty-handed. Chris Hussey, who limped off with injury at the weekend, is unlikely to feature in the first leg.
Highlighted Player (Jack Payne):
Jack Payne is a Lincoln City midfielder who started his youth career at Southend United. After spending his youth career at Southend, he continued playing for the Seasiders at senior level, scoring 15 goals in 77 appearances in the league.

The English footballer spent a couple of seasons on loan at Oxford United, Blackburn Rovers and Bradford City before signing a permanent deal with Lincoln City on a free transfer.in July 3, 2019.
Jack Payne made his Lincoln debut in a 2-0 win over Accrington Stanley on August 3, 2019. His main position is attacking midfield, but he is used as central midfielder and second striker as well. His preferred foot is left and he wears a No. 10 shirt.
Highlighted Team (Port Vale):
Nicknamed the Valiants, Port Vale are a professional club that compete in the League Two. Port Vale welcome their rivals at Vale Park, and they wear white and black kit when playing in front of home fans. Yellow, on the other hand, is the dominant colour of their away kit.
The Valiants’ home ground, which was built in 1950, can hold up to 49,768 people. Championship side Stoke City are seen as one of the club’s fiercest rivals, but their rivalry is pretty healthy. The two teams first met on December 2, 1882, with the Potters emerging triumphant (1-0).
The Valiants maintain a rivalry with fellow League 2 club Crewe Alexandra as well. Speaking of the club’s titles, it has to be noted that Port Vale have won Football League Trophy on two occasions (1993, 2001). A 9-1 win over Chesterfield from September 24, 1932 is the club’s biggest triumph.
