Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Country Ground will host Tuesday’s football game between Swindon Town and Stevenage, the two top-table sides. Swindon aim to build on a thrilling 5-0 win over Grimsby Town, and they must be high on spirits ahead of the visit of Stevenage. Both Lavinier and Darcy are pushing for a start after getting their names on the scoresheet at the weekend, while there are no fresh injury concerns in the home team.
The Boro, on the other hand, moved one step closer to securing a top-three finish thanks to a 3-0 win over league leaders Leyton Orient. Stevenage have a chance to climb to top position, but beating the Robins on the road is easier said than done. Taking everything into account, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. Steve Evans is unlikely to make changes that won the League Two derby on Saturday.
Highlighted Player (Jonny Williams):
Jonathan Williams is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Wales National Team and Charlton Athletic. Born on the 9th of October 1993, the Turnbridge local joined Crystal Palace's youth academy in 2002 and after impressive displays with the reserve team, signed a professional contract with the club in 2011.
He made his first professional appearance for the Eagles on the 16th of August, coming on a substitute in a game against Coventry City. Williams then scored his maiden professional goal a month later in a League Cup game against Wigan Athletic. In total, the dynamic midfielder spent eight years at Palace, making 70 appearances in all competitions for the club. He also had loan spells at Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, Milton Keynes Dons, and Sunderland during that time. On the 4th of January, 2019, the 26-year old joined current club Charlton on an initial six-month deal before rejoining them for the 18/19 season.
Internationally, Williams has capped for Wales under-17, under-18, and under-19 teams before progressing to Wales's senior squad on the 3rd of October, 2011. He made his international debut on the 22nd of March, 2013, as a second-half substitute against Scotland.
Highlighted Team (Stevenage):
Based in Hertfordshire, England, Stevenage Borough are a professional club that compete in the League Two. The Boro are well known for their red and white home hit, while dark blue is the dominant colour of their away kit. Stevenage play their home games at Broadhall Way, the stadium which can hold up to 6,722 spectators and they were founded in 1976.
The Boro have won FA Trophy on two occasions (2006/07, 2008/09), with the team clinching the Herts Senior Cup title in the 2008/09 season thanks to a 2-1 win over Cheshunt. Luton are considered one of the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in matches between the two sides.
In 2015 fighting broke out between rival fans near to the end of the clash at the Lamex. It has to be noted that Stevenage Borough were founded in 1976 after the bankruptcy of Stevenage Athletic.
