Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Stade Raymond-Kopa will host Sunday’s Ligue 1 game between Angers and Nice, the two teams with entirely different ambitions in the season finale. Les Scoistes are stuck at the bottom with only ten points in their pockets, and it is no wonder the odds for away win have been dropping. Since their injury list is pretty long, we do not believe that there is a big value in betting on the underdogs.
Les Aiglons, on the other hand, aim to represent France in European competitions for yet another term. Nice are six points behind the Conference League berth, and we predict that they will take advantage of Angers’ shaky defence. As for the visiting team, all Sofiane Diop, Youcef Atal, and Antoine Mendy are sidelined with injuries. In the first half of the season Angers defeated Nice thanks to Nabil Bentaleb’s goal, meaning that the visitors are hungry for revenge.
