Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Stade Francis-Le Ble will host Wednesday’s football game between Brest and Nice, the two mid-table sides. With only one point separating the two teams in the Ligue 1 table, a close encounter is on the cards. Brest suffered a 2-1 loss to Lens before the break, with the team extending their winless run in the league to three games. Les Pirates, though, recorded three wins in the previous four home games in the French top flight, which is surely giving fans a reason for optimism.
Les Aiglons, on the other hand, have been struggling at the back in the first half of the season, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. Nice head into the first game of the year with a severely-weakened squad, and, taking everything into account, they are likely to return home empty-handed.
Highlighted Player (Ludovic Baal):
Ludovic Baal is a left-footed football player who was born on May 24, 1988. Baal was born in Paris, but he is a product of the Le Mans youth academy and it has to be noted that he made 12 appearances for the club in his first season with the MMArena outfit.
His main position is left-back, but he is capable of playing as a left midfielder as well. Considering that he is a French-born player, Ludovic Baal was illegible to play for both France and the French Guayana national team.
Baal decided to represent French Guayana on international stage and he made three appearances for the team in the group stages of the 2012 Caribbean Cup. He found the net in a 4-1 win over Anguilla, with Gary Pigree scoring a hat-trick for French Guayana. Ludovic Baal currently play for Rennes as a left-back and his contract with the Ligue 1 outfit expires on June 30, 2019.

However, they were beaten by Schalke in their Europa League opener in front of home fans.
