Marseille
Lille and Olympique Marseille square off against each other at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in the Ligue 1 round 9. Les Dogues aim to build on back-to-back wins over Reims and Strasbourg, and they will surely fight tooth and nail against OM. Lille are eyeing their third consecutive win at home ground, but this game will be anything but a walk in the park for the reigning champions. Both Jonathan Bamba and Renato Sanches are rated doubtful for the match.
Marseille, on the other hand, aim to bounce back from a 3-2 loss to Lens, and given their attacking potential, we believe that punters from all around the globe can find value in betting on both teams to score. As for the visiting team, former Napoli attacker Arkadiusz Milik should be the only absentee. Morocco international Amine Harit is pushing for a start.

After spending his youth career at CS Paris-Charenton, UJA AlfortVille and Saint-Etienne, Jonathan Bamba started playing for Saint-Etienne II at senior level. In 2015 he was given a chance to prove his worth with the first team and it has to be noted that he scored eight goals in 42 appearances for les Verts in Ligue 1.
Following his loan spells with Paris, Sint-Truiden and Angers, Jonathan Bamba joined Lille in the summer of 2018. The pacey winger born in Alfortville (France) on March 26, 1996, has been playing for les Dogues ever since, but he has yet to earn a cap for the French national team. Nonetheless, Jonathan Bamba has 12 caps with France U21 in which he scored four goals for les Tricolores.
Jonathan Bamba’s main position is left winger, but he is used as a centre-forward as well. The French footballer, whose preferred foot is right, has a contract with Lille until June 30, 2023.

Olympique de Marseille are considered one of the best French football clubs. Les Olympiens won their ninth Ligue 1 title in 2010, but winning of the 1992/1993 Champions League trophy is seen as the club’s biggest success. Marseille defeated Italian giants Milan in the title game, with Basile Boli scoring the winner (1-0) in the Olympiastadion showdown.
It has to be noted, though, that the Stade Velodrome outfit were banned from defending the title in the 1993/1994 season after being involved in a match-fixing scandal. To make things even worse for the fans, the club suffered enforced relegation to the Ligue 2.
