Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Olympique Lyon will be looking to build on a thrilling 3-0 win over Monaco when they host Angers at their Groupama Stadium on Friday evening. Les Gones proved their worth in the opening match of the season, but they do not want to stop now. Sylvinho’s men aim to retain top position in the Ligue 1 standings and we are positive that they are going to stick to their attacking style of play against les Scoistes.
Key attacker Memphis Depay opened his goal-scoring account against les Rouges et Blancs and, no doubt, all eyes will be on him on Friday evening. Angers, on the other hand, kicked off the new Ligue 1 campaign with a 3-1 win over Bordeaux, but they will have a much bigger fish to fry in the Groupama Stadium clash. Les Gones are a real force to be reckoned with at home, therefore, the visitors are likely to return home empty-handed.

Highlighted Player (Rafael):

Best known for his role at Manchester United when football world got to know him and his twin brother first hand, Rafael Pereira da Silva is a Brazilian football operating mainly at right-back, but can also fill in on the right side of the midfield. Fabio began his career with Fluminense before jining Manchester United in 2007.
He spent eight years competing in the Premier League before he moved to Lyon in 2015. Prior to his move to France, Rafael spent one season playing for Queens Park Rangers in a campaign which turned out to be a disastrous one for the Brazilian.
Still fresh and with plenty of football in front of him at the age of 26, Rafael was given plenty of freedom at Lyon and a license to play his natural game. Signed on a four-year deal, Rafael has gone to become an imposing figure at his new club managing 27 appearances with one goal in a Lyon shirt across competitions.
Highlighted Team (Angers):

French Football Federation was founded in 1919, with French football club Angers being founded the same year. Les Scoistes returned to the French top flight at the end of the 2014/2015 season and they finished the 2015/2016 Ligue 1 campaign in ninth place in the standings.
Angers were having their ups and downs in the 2016/2017 season and, as a result, they finished 12th. Les Scoistes are well known for their black jerseys with white stripes, whilst the color of their away kits is white. Stade Raymond Kopa is the team’s home ground and the capacity of the stadium is 17.835.
The venues was opened back in 1912 and the stadium’s record attendance is 22.989 (April 26, 1969 vs. Olympique Marseille). Speaking of the club’s most notable players, we have to mention Fahid Ben Khalfallah, Vladica Kovacevic, Claudiu Keseru, Paul Alo’o, Amar Rouai and Cedric Daury. It has to be noted that the 2017/2018 season will be their 24th in the French top flight.
