Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
After failing to win previous four league fixtures, Olympique Marseille will be aiming to give fans something to cheer about when they host Strasbourg at their Orange Velodrome. OM suffered a dip in form, but Sunday’s football game could be the turning point for Andre Villas-Boas’ charges. The hosts are only three points behind the Champions League berth in the Ligue 1 standings and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at Strasbourg.
Le Racing, on the other hand, are on a three-game losing run in the French top flight, with the team failing to find the net in those matches. Anyhow, since the hosts are determined to return to winning ways in the Ligue 1, we believe that home win should be considered. A man to watch in the home team will be former Boca Juniors attacker Dario Benedetto, who has netted five goals in the Ligue 1 so far this term.

Founded back in 1906, Strasbourg is a professional football team that compete in French Ligue 1. Le Racing did remarkably well to win the 1979 Ligue 1 trophy and that is considered the biggest success in the history of the club. Le Racing recorded their biggest victory over Valenciennes (10-0) in the 1937-1938 season, whilst they suffered their biggest loss to Limoges (0-8) in the 1959/1960 season. Paraguayan goalkeeper Jose Luis Chilavert, who is well known for his free-kick abilities, played for the club from 2000 to 2003, but he failed to score in a league match during his spell with the Stade de la Meinau outfit.
