Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Monaco will be aiming to register their first win of the season when they host Nice at their Stade Louis II on Tuesday evening. Les Rouges et Blancs have been struggling to find their form at the start of the 2019/2020 Ligue 1 campaign, but given the number of top-class footballers in Leonardo Jardim’s team, it is no wonder the hosts are seen as favourites to win the midweek fixture.
Cesc Fabregas is likely to return to the starting XI against les Aiglons and, no doubt, all eyes will be on the experienced Spanish midfielder when the two clubs face each other at Stade Louis II. Nice did well to beat Dijon 2-1 at home in their last league match, but seeing that the hosts want this win more than the visitors, we predict that Patrick Vieira’s troops are going to return home empty-handed.

Highlighted Player (Adrien Silva):

Adrien Silva is a Portuguese midfielder who began his career with French club Bordeaux, before moving to ARC Paco and ultimately Sporting still as a youth player. The 27-year-old French-born midfielder was given his Sporting debut in 2007, but it wasn’t until 2012 when he was given more room to show his qualities.
Having spent 15 years of loyal service at the club and having gone through all the youth ranks with the Portugal national team, Adrien Silva made a man for himself during the Euro 2016 when he played every single one of Portugal’s matches from the round of 16 onwards. His imposing performances allowed him to attract plenty of interest from Europe’s top clubs during the summer transfer window.
Premier League champions Leicester City were at the forefront for the player who played 29 games for Sporting last season, adding 8 goals in the process.
Highlighted Team (Nice):

OGC Nice are a football club that participate in French Ligue 1. Les Aiglons welcome their opponents at Allianz Riviera and the club was founded on 9 July, 1904 by Marquis Massengy d’ Auzac.
OGC Nice won their first Ligue 1 trophy back in 1951 and eight years later they clinched their fourth and last domestic title. Speaking of the French Cup, les Aiglons won their third Coupe de France title in 1997. Allianz Riviera has been the home ground of the club since September, 2013 and it has to be noted that the construction of the venue cost €250 million. OGC Nice play their home games in red and black shirts and black shorts, while the colour of their away kits is white.
The Ligue 1 team booked their place in the Europa League group stages for the 2016/2017 season for the first time in the club’s history and they were drawn alongside Schalke 04, Salzburg and Krasnodar in Group I. However, they were beaten by Schalke in their Europa League opener in front of home fans.
