All eyes will be on Stade Louis II when Monaco and Rennes square off against each other in the Ligue 1 round 19. Monaco did well to eliminated Red Star in the Coupe de France at the weekend, and they are now on a quest to return to winning ways in the Ligue 1. Midfielder Youssouf Fofana misses out through suspension, while all Ruben Aguilar, Benoit Badiashile, Krepin Diatta, and Cesc Fabregas remain in the recovery room.
Les Rouges et Noirs, on the other hand, recorded a hard-fought 1-0 win over Lorient in the French Cup, with the team quickly bouncing back from the Ligue 1 loss to Nice. Given Rennes’ attacking potential, we believe that punters from all four corners of the world can find value in betting on both teams to score. Cesc did not win the Premier League title with Arsenal, but he helped the capital club lift the FA Cup trophy in 2005.
On the other hand, the Chelsea midfielder recorded much better results with the Spain national team as he won the European Championship trophy in 2008 and 2012, while winning the FIFA World Cup title in 2010. Fabregas made his debut for la Roja in March, 2006.

The club is one of the founding members of the French Ligue 1 and they are nicknamed Les Rouges et Noirs. Roazhon Park is the club’s home ground and the venue can hold 29.778 people. Rennes have yet to win the Ligue 1 trophy, but they won Coupe de France title on two occasions (1964/1965, 1970/1971).
