Nantes and Montpellier, the two mid-table sides, face each other at Stade de la Beaujoire in what is expected to be a close Ligue 1 encounter. Les Canaris quickly bounced back from a 3-1 loss to Rennes, with the team beating Strasbourg on the road before the international window, but Sunday’s game will be anything but a walk in the park for the home side. Douglas Augusto has joined the likes of Ignatius Ganago, Fabien Centonze, and Nathan Zeze in the recovery room, while both Mostafa Mohamed and Jean-Charles Castelletto are banned for the match.
La Paillade, on the other hand, have been scoring goals for fun of late and seeing that Nantes are capable of finding the net in front of home fans, we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score. The 171-cm tall midfielder has established himself as a first-team regular at Nimes and he successfully plays for the club in the French top flight. Savanier’s main position is central midfield, but he is used as an attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right.
Despite producing fine performances for Nimes in all competitions, Teji Savanier has yet to receive a call-up for the French national football team. His contract with Nimes should expire on June 27, 2018.
