Following back-to-back defeats to Metz and Marseille, Nantes will look to return to winning ways in the Ligue 1 when they take on Strasbourg on Saturday afternoon. Les Canaris have been struggling in front of goal of late, but given Le Racing’s poor form in the French top flight, home win should be considered. Douglas Augusto is banned for the match, while fellow midfielder Bastien Meupiyou remains on the sidelines with a knee injury.
Strasbourg, on the other hand, have collected only one point in total from the last five league matches. As Patrick Vieira’s men had only one shot on target in a 1-0 loss to Monaco at the weekend, we are tempted to put our money on Nantes.
