Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Nice and Auxerre face each other at Allianz Riviera in the opening match of Ligue 1 round 26. Les Aiglons aim to build on a 3-0 win over Monaco, and they are likely to adopt yet another attack-minded approach against Auxerre. A man to watch in the home team will be January signing Terem Moffi, who scored a brace at the weekend, while all Nicolas Pepe, Joe Bryan, Youcef Atal, and Marcin Bulka remain on the sidelines through injuries.
Christophe Pelissier’s troops, on the other hand, proved their worth in back-to-back wins over Lyon and Lorient, but they need to keep on improving their game if they are to secure the Ligue 1 survival. Auxerre, though, have already suffered nine defeats on the road this season, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. Midfielder Elisha Owusu should be the only absentee in the away team.
