Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
PSG will look to cement top position in the Ligue 1 standings when they face Strasbourg in their first game after the World Cup break. Leo Messi, who won the WC trophy with Argentina, will be given a rest, but both Kylian Mbappe and Achraf Hakimi should play against Le Racing. Both Nuno Mendes and Danilo Pereira are sidelined with injuries, while both Marquinhos and Keylor Navas have recovered from their respective injuries.
Meanwhile, Strasbourg are stuck in the relegation zone with only 11 points on their account, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as underdogs in Wednesday’s clash. Since over the years PSG have turned their Parc des Princes into a real fortress, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Defender Colin Dagba and Nordine Kandil should miss out with injuries for the visiting team.
