Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Saturday’s football game at Stade Auguste-Delaune II pits together Reims and Montpellier. Reims aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Rennes, but they face a difficult task in the clash against la Paillade. The two teams are level on points in the Ligue 1 standings ahead of Matchday 10 and a close encounter is on the horizon. Les Rouges et Blancs aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Rennes, but seeing that the visitors made a promising start to the season, the hosts would be happy with one point from the match as well.
Montpellier, on the other hand, aim to build on a 3-1 victory over Monaco, but given their poor away record, the visitors would be happy with one point from the Stade Auguste-Delaune II clash as well. Taking everything into account, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw.

Highlighted Player (Ghislain Konan):

Ghislain Konan is an Ivory Coast footballer, who plays for Stade de Reims in Ligue 1. Born in Abidjan on December 27, 1995, the pacey left-back began his senior career at his hometown club ASEC Mimosas in 2015. However, in 2016 Konan moved to Portugal, signing a deal with Vitoria de Guimaraes.
After making 44 appearances for the Portuguese outfit in Primeira Liga, he moved to Stade de Reims in 2017. Konan made his Ligue 1 debut in a 1-0 victory over Nice at Allianz Riviera. Speaking of his international career, the Stade De Reims defender made his Ivory Coast debut in a goalless draw with Mali on October 6, 2017.
The two teams faced each other in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Konan’s preferred foot is left and his contract with Stade de Reims should expire in June, 2022. Ghislain Konan wears No. 3 jersey at Stade de Reims.
Highlighted Team (Montpellier):

Over the years Montpellier have established themselves as a mid-table side in French Ligue 1. Montpellier are considered one of the youngest clubs in France as they were founded in 1974, but it has to be noted that a number of high-profile footballers played for the club in the past. French football legend Laurent Blanc played for Montpellier from 1981-1993 and he scored 76 goals in 24 appearances in the league for the club. Eric Cantona, Roger Milla, Carlos Valderama and Olivier Giroud played in Montpellier’s colors as well, but Pascal Baills is the player with most appearances for the club (429).
La Paillade did remarkably well to win the Ligue 1 trophy in 2012 and that is considered the club’s biggest success. Montpellier won Coupe de France on two occasions (1929, 1990), with the team beating FC Sete and FC Paris respectively in the title games. The team welcome their rivals at Stade de la Mosson and the capacity of the stadium is 32.900. In 1999 Montpellier won the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
