Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Following an embarrassing 4-0 loss to Auxerre, Rennes will look to give fans something to cheer about when they face Toulouse in the Ligue 1 round 11. Les Rouges et Noirs experienced all sorts of problems at the back in their last league match, but their fine home record is surely giving fans a reason for optimism ahead of Sunday’s clash. Trio Gouiri – Faye – Santamaria is pushing for a start as boss Julien Stephan is likely to make changes to the starting XI, while defender Alidu Seidu is back from suspension.
Les Pitchouns, on the other hand, proved their worth in back-to-back wins over Montpellier and Reims. As Rennes want this win more than Toulouse, we predict that the visitors will return home with their hands empty. Defender Rasmus Nicolaisen should be the only absentee in the visiting team this time out.
