Following a 5-3 loss to Real Salt Lake, Colorado Rapids will look to get back on course when they host Minnesota United to their Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Sunday. Colorado have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team producing much better showings at home than on the travels. As the Rapids have won three of their last four home games, home win should be considered. Both Kimani Stewart-Baynes and Daniel Chacon are sidelined with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
The Loons, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Portland Timbers. Considering that Minnesota have found their form as well, we are tempted to put our money on draw. Both Sang-Bin Jeong and Robin Lod should be recalled to the starting XI after getting their names on the scoresheet against Portland, while Miguel Tapias serves a one-game ban.

Wil Trapp is an American footballer who plays for Columbus Crew in MLS as a midfielder. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Trapp played for Akron Zips during his college career and in 2013 he returned to his hometown club Columbus Crew. Over the years the 173-cm tall footballer has established himself as a first-team regular and thanks to his thrilling performances in the Major League Soccer, he earned a place in the USA national team.
Wil Trapp made his USA debut on January 28, 2015 in a 3-2 loss to Chile. The Columbus man did well to wear captain’s armband in a friendly game against Bosnia and Herzegovina in January, 2018. Speaking of his club success, Trapp made it to the Eastern Conference play-offs with Columbus in 2015. His main position is defensive midfielder, but he is used as a centre midfielder as well.
The American footballer graduated from Lincoln High School where he was named the 2010 NSCAA National High School Player of the Year.

Colorado Rapids is a Major League Soccer club and they compete in the USA professional soccer league as a member of the Western Conference. Colorado began their play in MLS back in 1996 and 14 years later they managed to win the MLS Cup trophy. The Rapids recorded a 2-1 win over FC Dallas in the final of the tournament, with George John scoring the winner for Gary Smith’s team in the extra time. Colorado made it to the MLS Cup final in 1997 as well, but D.C. United proved to be a big catch for the club in the title game.
The Rapids play their home games at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park and the venue has been Colorado’s home ground since 2007. It has to be noted that the likes of Tim Howard, Carlos Valderama, Claudio Lopez and Jermaine Jones were all part of the club in the past. Colorado’s colors are red, sky blue and white, but they were yellow shirts and blue shorts when playing on the travels.
