Montreal CF
DC United and Club de Foot Montreal square off against each other in a highly-anticipated MLS game at Audi Field. The capital club did well to beat Columbus Crew 4-2 in their last league match, with the team retaining their spot in top seven. DC United are high on spirits ahead of Monday’s clash, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as favourites to beat Montreal.
Both Paul Arriola and Donovan Pines returned from international duty, while goalkeeper Bill Hamid suffered an injury in the previous league match. The Canadian outfit, on the other hand, continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, which is the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the capital club. Both Wanyama and Camacho are banned for the visiting team.
Highlighted Player (Felipe Martins):
Felipe Campanholi Martins is a Brazilian footballer who was born on September 30, 1990 in Engenheiro Beltrao. After playing for the likes of PSTC-Londrina, Atletico Catarinense and Campo Grande during his youth career, he started his senior career at Padova.
The Brazilian midfielder appeared in no more than four league matches for the Italian club and in 2009 he moved to Switzerland, signing a deal with FC Winterthur. At the end of the season he joined fellow Swiss Super League club Lugano and he quickly established himself as a first-team regular. In the winter of 2011 Felipe moved to MLS, signing a deal with expansion team Montreal Impact.
He scored his first MLS goal in a 2-0 win over Sporting Kansas City on May 5, 2012 and he has been playing an important role in the team ever since. Felipe has yet to represent Brazil at senior level, but he could play for Canada national team in the future as he applied for permanent residency.

Club de Foot Montréal is a Canadian soccer team, but they compete in Major League Soccer. They are a member of the Eastern Conference and they have been participating in the major league since 2012. Montreal welcome their opponents at Saputo Stadium and the capacity of the club’s home ground is 20.801.
The construction of the stadium cost CA$17 million and the venue was opened on May 18, 2008. The Saputo family invested $7.5 million in the construction of the stadium and, as a result, the venue was named Saputo Stadium. Montreal CF did remarkably well to make it to the CONCACAF Champions League final in the 2014/2015 season, but Mexican team America proved to be a big catch for the Canadian outfit in the title game.
Speaking of the Canadian championship, the Impact won their third domestic trophy in 2014, with the team beating Toronto FC in the final of the tournament. Montreal Impact play their home matches in blue and black shirts and black shorts, while the colour of their away kit is white.
