There will be fireworks when New England Revolution and Toronto take on each other at Gillette Stadium in the Major League Soccer. The Revs aim to put an end to their five-game winless run, with the team eyeing their first league triumph since June 19, 2022 when they defeated Minnesota United in front of home fans. There are no fresh injury worries in the home team ahead of Sunday’s showdown.
The Reds, on the other hand, rolled over Charlotte 4-0 at home in their last league match, but beating New England on the road is easier said than done. Arnor Ingvi is an Iceland international who plays for Swedish side FC Malmo as a midfielder. Born in Keflavik, Iceland on April 30, 1993, Traustason began his senior career at his hometown club Keflavik in 2010. After scoring ten goals in 52 appearances for Keflavik, he moved to Sweden in 2014, signing a deal with Norkopping.
During the 2016/2017 season Arnor Ingvi Traustason was part of Rapid Wien and it has to be noted that he played for AEK Athens on loan as well. In the 2017/2018 season he signed a three and a half-year contract with Malmo for an undisclosed fee. Traustason, who represented Iceland at the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals in Russia, wears No. 8 jersey at Malmo.
His main position is left midfield, but he is capable of playing as a winger as well. Traustason’s preferred foot is right and his contract with FC Malmo should expire on December 31, 2021.

Toronto is a club based in Canada, but they have been competing in Major League Soccer since 2007. Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment own both the soccer club and National Hockey League’s Toronto Maple Leafs. BMO Field is the club’s home ground and the capacity of the stadium is 30.000.
The Canadian outfit impressed in the 2016 MLS Cup and they faced Seattle Sounders in the title game at BMO Field. However, the Canadians were more than unfortunate not to lift the silverware as they were beaten by the Sounders on penalties.
Speaking of the Canadian Championship, Toronto FC won their fifth domestic title in 2016, with the team beating Vancouver Whitecaps in the final of the tournament. Montreal Impact are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in meetings between the two Canadian sides. Toronto FC’s home kit is red and it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Reds. It has to be noted that the club was founded back in 2005.
