Our prediction for this MLS match:
New York City play host to Charlotte at their Red Bull Arena in what is expected to be an interesting MLS game. The Blue Pigeons suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to both Inter Miami and Columbus Crew in the previous two league fixtures, but they are still seen as favourites to beat the newcomers on home soil. Keaton Parks remains on the sidelines with injury, but the midfielder should be the only absentee in the home team.
Charlotte, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 5-0 loss to Los Angeles FC, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. Both Adam Armour and Vinicius Mello are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the away team ahead of the trip to New York.
