Our prediction for this MLS match:
New York City play host to DC United at their Red Bull Arena in what is expected to be an exciting MLS game. The Blue Pigeons are sitting just below the playoffs berth, and they are likely to fight tooth and nail against DC United. Iceland international Gudmundur Thorarinsson is pushing for a start after finding the net in the 1-1 draw with Atlanta United, while Sweden defender Anton Tinnerholm remains in the recovery room.
The capital club, on the other hand, aim to retain their spot in top seven. DC United, though, failed to win the previous three league fixtures, and given their shaky defence, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the home side. All Arriola, Flores, and Hines-Ike are out of contention through injuries, but there are no suspended footballers in the away side.
Highlighted Player (Alexandru Mitrita):
Italian Serie A is a Romanian footballer who is well known for his height. The 199-cm attacking midfielder, who is capable of playing as a winger as well, was born in Craiova on February 8, 1995 and he started his youth career at Turnu Severin.
In 2012 he moved to fellow Romanian club Viitorul Constanta and in 2015 he signed a deal with Italian side Pescara. After scoring 2 goals in 34 appearances for the Dolphins, he returned to Romania, signing a contract with Universitatea Craiova. Alexandru Mitrita was on New York City’s radar during the 2017/2018 season and seeing that he scored 18 goals in the national championship, the chiefs of the MLS club decided to sign him in 2019.
The Romanian footballer made his MLS soccer debut in a 2-2 draw with Orlando City, but he failed to find the net. Alexandru Mitrita’s preferred foot is right, but he often plays as a left winger.
