Our prediction for this MLS match:
New York City will be looking to extend their winning run in the Major League Soccer to six games when they host Toronto at their Yankee Stadium on Thursday morning. Domenec Torrent’s troops have been in a splendid form of late and seeing that they aim to retain top position in the Eastern Conference, we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at the Reds on Thursday morning.
Toronto, on the other hand, proved their in a 5-1 win over Cincinnati where Eriq Zavaleta was sent off in the dying minutes of the match. The 27-year-old misses the New York City game through suspension, but the visitors are definitely capable of extending their fine goal-scoring run against Domenec Torrent’s charges. A lively contest is on the cards at Yankee Stadium and we are tempted to put our money on both teams to score.
Highlighted Player (Alexandru Mitrita):

Italian Serie A is a Romanian footballer who is well known for his height. The 199-cm attacking midfielder, who is capable of playing as a winger as well, was born in Craiova on February 8, 1995 and he started his youth career at Turnu Severin.
In 2012 he moved to fellow Romanian club Viitorul Constanta and in 2015 he signed a deal with Italian side Pescara. After scoring 2 goals in 34 appearances for the Dolphins, he returned to Romania, signing a contract with Universitatea Craiova. Alexandru Mitrita was on New York City’s radar during the 2017/2018 season and seeing that he scored 18 goals in the national championship, the chiefs of the MLS club decided to sign him in 2019.
The Romanian footballer made his MLS soccer debut in a 2-2 draw with Orlando City, but he failed to find the net. Alexandru Mitrita’s preferred foot is right, but he often plays as a left winger.
Highlighted Team (Toronto FC):

Toronto is a club based in Canada, but they have been competing in Major League Soccer since 2007. Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment own both the soccer club and National Hockey League’s Toronto Maple Leafs. BMO Field is the club’s home ground and the capacity of the stadium is 30.000.
The Canadian outfit impressed in the 2016 MLS Cup and they faced Seattle Sounders in the title game at BMO Field. However, the Canadians were more than unfortunate not to lift the silverware as they were beaten by the Sounders on penalties.
Speaking of the Canadian Championship, Toronto FC won their fifth domestic title in 2016, with the team beating Vancouver Whitecaps in the final of the tournament. Montreal Impact are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in meetings between the two Canadian sides. Toronto FC’s home kit is red and it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Reds. It has to be noted that the club was founded back in 2005.
