Our prediction for this MLS match:
Philadelphia Union welcome Inter Miami to their Subaru Park in what is expected to be one of the most interesting games of Sunday’s program. Philadelphia are once again seen as one of the main favourites to win the MLS Cup, but the season is quite long. Venezuela midfielder Jose Martinez, who scored on his return from international duty in a 2-2 draw with Philadelphia Union, will be one of the men to watch in the home team, while Andres Perea should recover in time to face Inter Miami.
The Herons, on the other hand, can’t wait for Leo Messi to sign for the club, but, at the moment, they are seen as big underdogs in the clash against the title-chasing U’s. Philadelphia have turned their Subaru Park into a real fortress and we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field. All Corentin Jean, Jean Mota, Gregore, and Robbie Robinson remain in the treatment room.
Highlighted Player (Andre Blake):
Andre Blake is a Jamaican goalkeeper who plays for MLS club Philadelphia Union. Blake was born in May Pen, Jamaica, on November 21, 1990, but he went to the UConn college in United States of America. The 193-cm-tall shoot-stopper spent three years playing college football and in 2014 he signed a professional contract with Philadelphia Union.
Andre Blake made his debut for the U in July 2014 in a friendly game against Crystal Palace and he played his first MLS match against Montreal Impact. Speaking of his international career, the goalkeeper made his Jamaica debut on March 2, 2014 in a 2-0 victory over Barbados. Later that year Andre Blake won the Caribbean Cup with the Reggae Boyz as they defeated Trinidad and Tobago on penalties in the title game.
Over the years Blake has established himself as a first-team regular and, no doubt, there is a bright future ahead of him. The Philadelphia Union shoot-stopper wears the number 18 on his shirt.
Highlighted Team (Inter Miami):
Inter Miami is an American football (soccer) club that has been competing in the Major League Soccer since 2020. The Herons faced Los Angeles FC on their MLS debut, with the team suffering a 1-0 loss at Venue Banc of California Stadium.
Inter Miami recorded their first MLS win on August 23, 2020, with the team beating Orlando City 3-2 during the coronavirus pandemic. The Herons wear white shirts and violet shorts when playing at home, while black is the dominant colour of their away jersey. Inter Miami welcome their rivals at Inter Miami FC Stadium, the venue which can hold no more than 18,000 spectators.
The stadium was opened on July 18, 2020. Former Manchester United and England ace David Beckham shares the ownership of the club with the likes of Marcelo Claure, Jorge and Jose Mas, and Masayoshi Son. Uruguay tactician Diego Alonso is the first head coach in the history of the club.
