Our prediction for this MLS match:
Real Salt Lake play host to Cincinnati at their Rio Tinto Stadium as both sides aim to move closer to booking their spot in the playoffs. The Royals do not seem to be at the top of their game in the regular season finale, and, no doubt, they will give 100% to put an end to their three-match winless run. Venezuela forward Sergio Cordova returns to the starting XI after coming as a substitute in a 3-0 loss to Austin, while all Bobby Wood, Damir Kreilach, and Zack Farnsworth remain in the recovery room.
Cincinnati, on the other hand, produced their best performance of the season in a 6-0 crushing of San Jose Earthquakes, meaning that they are high on spirits ahead of Sunday’s clash. Given their attacking potential, both teams to score betting option should be considered. A man to watch in the away side will be Brenner, who scored a hat-trick at the weekend, while Geoff Cameroon is banned for the match.
Highlighted Player (Justin Meram):
Over the years Justin Meram has established himself as one of the best Iraqi footballers. The centre forward, who is capable of playing as a winger as well, was born in Shelby Charter Township, Michigan on December 4, 1988, but he represents Iraq on the international stage.
During his college career Justin Meram played for the likes of Yavapai Roughriders and Michigan Wolverines and in 2011 he joined MLS club Columbus Crew. Meram scored 37 goals in 188 appearances for the club in MLS before signing a deal with Orlando City in January, 2018.
The Iraq international made his debut for the Lions in a 1-1 draw with DC United on March 4 and he scored his first goal for the club on May 14 in a 2-1 loss to Atlanta United. As for his international career, Justin Meram made his Iraq debut in November, 2014 in a 1-0 defeat to Kuwait. The Orlando City attacker wears the number 9 shirt.
Highlighted Team (FC Cincinnati):
FC Cincinnati will make their MLS debut in the 2019 season. Based in Ohio, the Orange and Blue are a team who is expected to play their home games at West End Stadium. However, seeing that the West End Stadium is still under construction, FC Cincinnati will welcome their rivals at Nippert Stadium at the start of the season.
The team’s home colors are orange and blue, whilst they wear white shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. Justin Hoyte, who used to play for the likes of Arsenal and Middlesbrough in the Premier League is considered one of the team’s most famous footballers.
The Orange and Blue will make their MLS debut against Seattle Sounders, whilst they will play their first ever home game in the league against Portland Timbers. It has to be noted that FC Cincinnati has five supporters groups: Die Innestadt, The Legion, The Pride, Queen City and The Briogaid.
