Children’s Mercy Park will host Thursday’s MLS game between Sporting Kansas City and Los Angeles Galaxy. The Wizards aim to build on a 2-1 win over Seattle Sounders which saw them keep their hopes of securing top position alive. Sporting are likely to adopt yet another attack-minded approach against Los Angeles Galaxy, and we are positive that they will find the net in midweek clash.
Both Lindsey and Pulido are sidelined with injuries, while Hernandez misses the game through personal reasons. LA Galaxy, on the other hand, aim to move one step closer to booking their place in the playoffs. Since both sides are likely to go for a win in Thursday’s clash, we believe that there is a big value in betting on both teams to score. Jorge Villafana should be the only absentee in the away team.
Highlighted Player (Felipe Gutierrez):
Filipe Gutierrez is a Spanish footballer who plays as a central midfielder for La Liga side Real Betis. The Chilean international is capable of playing as both attacking and left midfielder as well and he started his senior career at Universidad Catolica.
He scored 19 goals in 65 appearances for los Cruzados, but in 2012 he decided to move to Europe. Gutierrez signed a deal with Eredivisie side Twente in June 2012 for a fee of $4 million. After making 94 league appearances for Twente he joined La Liga team Real Betis on 6 July, 2016. Felipe Gutierrez won Copa America with Chile in 2015 as La Roja defeated star-studded Argentina in the title game. Speaking of his club honours, Gutierrez won the 2010 Primera division de Chile trophy with Universidad Catolica.
It has to be noted that he was named Most Valuable Player of the Eredivisie for the 2013/2014 campaign. Felipe Gutierrez earned his 27th cap for Chile in a 4-1 win over Venezuela in the World Cup qualifiers in March 2016.

Los Angeles Galaxy are probably the most famous American soccer club. The club have been participating in the MLS since 1996 and San Jose Earthquakes are considered their bitterest rivals. A number of top-class players were part of the team in the past, but, no doubt, David Beckham is the club’s most significant star. The former Manchester United star played for LA Galaxy from 2007 to 2012 and he scored 18 goals in 98 appearances in the league for the club.
Fellow England international Steven Gerrard is yet another Premier League ace who joined LA Galaxy. Stevie G signed a $9 million deal with the club in June, 2015. One year before he arrived to Los Angeles, the Galaxy won their fifth MLS Cup, with the team beating New England Revolution (2-1) in the final of the tournament, but winning the CONCACAF Champions League in 2000 is considered the club’s biggest success. The MLS outfit outplayed Olimpia of Honduras in the title game, with Ezra Hendrickson scoring the winning goal ten minutes before the final whistle.
