Monday’s football game at Victoria Stadium pits together Gibraltar and Georgia, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. Thanks to a 2-0 win over North Macedonia, Georgia clinched top position in Group 4 and a promotion to League B, meaning that they are high on spirits ahead of the last group game. As always, a man to watch in the away side will be Napoli ace Kvaratshkhelia, who found the net in Friday’s triumph.
The hosts, on the other hand, have been serving as a cannon fodder for their rivals in the new Nations League campaign, and given their shaky defence, anything but a routine away win would be a major surprise. When the two teams met in Tbilisi earlier in the process Georgia recorded a routine 4-0 win over Gibraltar, and we predict that the history is going to repeat itself.

Lasha Dvali is a Georgian footballer who plays for Hungarian side Ferencvaros as a defender. Lasha Dvali’s main position is centre-back, but he is used as both left-back and defensive midfielder as well. The 191-cm tall footballer has a contract with Ferencvaros until June 30, 2020.
Before joining the Hungarian champions, the Georgian defender played for the likes of Skonto, Reading, Kasimpasa, Duisburg, Slask, Irtysh Pavlodar and Pogon. Lasha Dvali is a product of Saburtalo football academy, but he played for Metalurgi Rustavi during his youth career as well. The Ferencvaros centre-back made his debut with the Georgian national team on March 2015 against Germany, coming as a substitute for Aleksandre Amisulashvili.
He has eight caps with the U21 team as well. Lasha Dvali will have a chance to prove his worth in the Europa League as Ferencvaros will compete in the European competition in the 2019/2020 season.

Georgia are yet another former Soviet republic who have been competing as an independent country since 1990. The Georgians had their international debut on May 27, 1990, with the team sharing the spoils with Lithuania in Tbilisi.
Georgia have been struggling in the qualifiers for both FIFA World Cup and the European Championship ever since they played their first qualifying game and they have yet to book their place at the finals of the major tournaments. The Georgian national football team recorded their biggest win on March 30, 1997, with the team hammering Armenia in front of home fans, but they were demolished by Denmark (1-6) eight years later and that is considered the team’s biggest loss.
The Likes of Kakha Kaladze and Shota Arveladze are considered Georgia’s most famous players. Kakha Kaladze played for Georgia from 1996 to 2011, scoring one goal in 83 appearances for the national team. The left-footed defender won two Champions League titles with Serie A giants AC Milan (2003, 2007).
