Our prediction for this Nations League match:
Promotion to Nations League A will be at stake when Norway and Slovenia go head to head at Ulleval Stadion on Tuesday evening. The Norwegians are one point away from securing top position in Group 4; therefore, we predict that they will adopt a cautious approach in the decider. A man to watch in the home team will be Man City superstar Erling Haaland, who scored the opener in a 2-1 loss to Slovenia, but the opposition back-line should have Arsenal attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard at bay as well.
The Eagles, on the other hand, came from behind to beat Sweden 3-1 in their last group game, and given Aleksandar Mitrovic’s splendid form, we predict that Dragan Stojkovic’s troops will pick up all three points from the last group game. Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic remains in the recovery room, while pacey wing-back Darko Lazovic is pushing for a start.
Highlighted Player (Joshua King):
Joshua King is a Norway international who plays for Premier League side Bournemouth as a striker. King was born in Oslo on January 15, 1992 and he started his career at the youth team of Romsas. In 2006 the Norwegian footballer moved to Valerenga and two years later he joined Premier League giants Manchester United. Nonetheless, he did not see any game action at Old Trafford as he was immediately sent on loan to Preston.
Joshua King played for the likes of Borussia M’gladbach, Hull City and Blackburn Rovers on loan as well before signing a permanent deal with the Riversiders in January, 2013. The pacey attacker scored only three goals in 56 appearances in the league for Blackburn Rovers, but in 2015 Bournemouth chiefs decided to bring him to Vitality Stadium.
Joshua King impressed in the 2016/2017 Premier League campaign, with the Norwegian striker scoring 16 goals in 36 appearances for the Cherries. King provided two assists for his teammates in the process as well.
Highlighted Team (Serbia):
Serbia have been playing as an independent nation since 2006. The Serbs made it to the 2010 FIFA World Cup finals and despite defeating star-studded Germany in the group stages of the showpiece tournament in South Africa, they eventually failed to book their place in the last 16. The Eagles, though, failed to qualify for the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil as they experienced all sorts of problems in their qualifying group.
A number of top-class footballers played for Serbia and former Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic is regarded as one of the best players in the history of the Serbian national team. Vidic scored two goals in 56 appearances for Serbia and he announced his retirement from the national team on 24 October, 2011.
The Eagles play their home game at Stadion Rajko Mitic and it has to be noted that they defeated Czech Republic 3-1 in their first international game under the name of Serbia. Serbia play their home games in red shirts and red shorts, while the colour of their away kit is white.
