Our prediction for this Nations League match:
Portugal will look to overcome a one-goal deficit in the tie with Denmark when the two teams face each other at Estadio Jose Alvalade on Sunday evening. Portugal failed to impress in the 1-0 loss at Parken Stadium and it has to be noted that Denmark had 23 goal attempts in the first leg. Both Ruben Neves and Nelson Semedo are in line for a recall to the starting XI, while there are no fresh injury worries in the home team.
The Danes, on the other hand, are eager to defend their slim lead in the return leg. Even though there are no fresh injury concerns in the away team, Manchester United striker Rasmus Hojlund should be recalled to the starting XI after scoring the winner as a substitute in the first leg. Anyhow, home win should be considered as Portugal have turned “Joao Alvalade” into a real fortress.
