Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
Ajax and Go Ahead Eagles take on each other in a David-vs-Goliath clash at Johan Cruijff Arena. The reigning champions dropped two points in a goalless draw with Heracles, and, as a result, PSV are only two points behind them in the Eredivisie standings. Ajax aim to return to winning ways as soon as possible, and they are seen as hot favourites to win Sunday’s clash. Erik ten Hag should have a full squad to choose from; therefore, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise.
The newcomers, on the other hand, have been in a splendid form of late, with the team winning each of their last three league fixtures. G.A. Eagles, though, will have a mountain to climb in the Johan Cruijff Arena clash, and they are unlikely to spoil Ajax’s party in the beautiful city of Amsterdam. A man to watch in the away team will be Mats Seuntjens, who has been in a splendid form of late, while Sweden international Isac Lidberg is back from suspension.
