Our prediction for this Netherlands Eredivisie match:
After dropping two points in a 2-2 draw with Go Ahead Eagles, Ajax will be aiming to return to winning ways in Eredivisie when they welcome Heracles to their Johan Cruijff Arena on Matchday 3. The Amsterdammers have yet to find their best form in the new domestic campaign, but they are still seen as favourites to win Sunday’s encounter. The good news for the hosts is that summer signing Ko Itakura has overcome his minor injury.
The Black and Whites, on the other hand, have been struggling at the back in the new Eredivisie campaign, with the team conceding eight goals in total in back-to-back losses to Utrecht (0-4) and Heracles (1-4). Given Heracles’ five-game losing run at Johan Cruijff Arena, we predict that the visitors are going to return home from the trip to Amsterdam empty-handed. To make things even worse for the away team, forward Jizz Hornkamp misses out through suspension.
Highlighted Player (Steven Berghuis):

Born in Apeldoorn, Netherlands on December 19, 1991, Steven Berghuis is a Dutch winger who plays for Ajax in the Eredivisie. Berghuis played for the likes of Vitesse/AGOVV, WSV Apeldoorn, and Go Ahead Eagles during his youth career before joining Twente in 2009.
The 183-cm-tall footballer continued playing for the Reds at senior level. After ending his loan spell with VVV-Venlo, Steven Berghuis joined AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2012, and three years later signed a deal with the Premier League club Watford. After making no more than nine appearances in the English top flight, Berghuis moved to Feyenoord in August 2016, and he has been playing De club aan de Maas ever since.
His main position is right winger, but he is capable of producing fine displays as both left winger and attacking midfielder as well. He made his Netherlands debut on May 27, 2016 in a 1-1 draw with the Republic of Ireland.
Highlighted Team (Heracles):

Heracles is a professional Dutch club based in Almelo. The club was formed back in May 1903 and named after Heracles, the demigod son of Zeus. From 1974 to 1998 the club played under the name of SC Heracles ’74. The Heraclieden’s home colours are black and white, while blue is the dominant colour of their away shirt.
Twente are considered one of the club’s main rivals in the Netherlands. Speaking of the club’s achievements, it has to be noted that Heracles have won two Eredivisie trophies (1926/27, 1940/41). In the 2011/12 season they made it to the Dutch Cup final. Heracles faced PSV in the title game, with the Dutch giants proving to be a big catch for the underdogs.
PSV won the game 3-0. In the 2016/17 season Heracles participated in the Europa League, with the team suffering elimination to Arouca in the third qualifying round. Everton is leading the club’s all-time goal-scoring chart with 77 goals.
