AZ Alkmaar and Twente go head to head at AFAS Stadion in what is expected to be an entertaining Eredivisie encounter. AZ aim to keep their Champions League hopes alive, and we are positive that they will go all guns blazing at Twente. Both Midtsjo and van der Wacht missed the Vitesse game with injuries, and the duo is unlikely to feature in Saturday’s clash.
The Reds, on the other hand, have drawn the previous three league fixtures, with the team remaining in the race for a place in the Europa League. However, AZ Alkmaar are likely to pose a much bigger threat for them than their previous rivals. Clasie played for the likes of Feyenoord, Excelsior (loan), Southampton, and Club Brugge (loan) before returning to Rotterdam. After ending his second spell with Feyenoord, the Dutch footballer joined AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2019. He made his AZ debut in the Eredivisie on August 4, 2019 in a 4-0 win over Fortuna Sittard.
