Waalwijk
AZ Alkmaar play host to RKC Waalwijk at their AFAS Stadion on the last day of the season. AZ have drawn each of their last three league fixtures, and, no doubt, they want to finish the regular season with a triumph. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Greece attacker Vangelis Pavlidis, who has netted 16 goals in the Eredivisie so far this season, while Pascal Jansen has no fresh selection worries.
RKC, on the other hand, secured yet another Eredivisie survival thanks to a 2-0 win over Heracles. Since the visitors have already got their job done in the 2021/2022 season, we are tempted to put our money on AZ Alkmaar, who did well to hold reigning champions Ajax to a 2-2 draw in their last home fixture. There are no fresh injury worries in the away side, but all Mulder, Wouters, Kuijpers, and Azhil are pushing for recalls.

Jordy Clasie is a product of the Feyenoord youth academy who plays for AZ Alkmaar as a midfielder. His main position is defensive midfield, but he is capable of producing fine displays as both central midfielder and centre-back as well.
Clasie played for the likes of Feyenoord, Excelsior (loan), Southampton, and Club Brugge (loan) before returning to Rotterdam. After ending his second spell with Feyenoord, the Dutch footballer joined AZ Alkmaar in the summer of 2019. He made his AZ debut in the Eredivisie on August 4, 2019 in a 4-0 win over Fortuna Sittard.
Jordie Clasie has 12 caps with the Netherlands U21 team, and he made his senior debut in a 1-1 draw with Italy on February 6, 2013. Thanks to his elegant style of play, Clasie has earned the nickname of “Dutch Xavi”. The AZ Alkmaar midfielder was born in Haarlem, Netherlands on June 27, 1991.

RKC Waalwijk is a Dutch club that competes in the Eredivisie. RKC returned to the Dutch top flight in the 2019/20 season, and they were more than fortunate not to suffer relegation back to Eerste Divisie. Fred Grim’s men were stuck at the bottom of the table when the season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
As a result, they did not drop to the Dutch second tier. RKC play home games at Mandemakers Stadion, the venue which can hold only 7,500 spectators. RKC Waalwijk are well known for their yellow shirts with blue strips, but their away kit is mainly black. The Mandemakers Stadion outfit have never won the national championship.
RKC, though, represented the Netherlands in European competitions in the past, with team taking part in Intertoto Cup on four occasions. Willem II are seen as one of the club’s main rivals, with the two teams facing each other in the Brabantse derby.
