Heerenveen and Vitesse face each other at Abe Lenstra Stadion in what is expected to be one of the most exciting games of Saturday’s program. Heerenveen have been anything but impressive in the first half of the season, with the team sitting in 9th position in the standings ahead of the visit of Vitesse. Since De Superfriezen suffered four defeats in the previous five league fixtures, home win should not be considered.
The Vitas, on the other hand, suffered an unexpected 2-1 loss to Go Ahead Eagles in their last league match. Considering that the visitors are eager to return to winning ways as well, we believe that punters from all four corners of the world can find value in betting on both teams to score. Erwin Mulder is an experienced Dutch footballer who plays for Heerenveen as a goalkeeper. Mulder spent his youth career at R.K.P.S.C, Vitesse Arnhem, and Feyenoord, and he continued playing for the Rotterdam club at senior level.
After making 120 appearances in the Eredivisie with Feyenoord, the 193-cm-tall shot-stopper signed for Heerenveen as a free agent in the summer of 2015. It has to be noted, though, that Erwin Mulder was loaned to Excelsior during his spell with Feyenoord. His next stop was Swansea City where he made 29 league appearances before returning to Heerenveen in 2020.
Erwin Mulder was born in Pannerden on March 3, 1989, and he has three caps with the Netherlands U20 team. He has yet to earn a call-up with the Oranje senior team. The Heerenveen goalkeeper was named in the Netherlands Euro 2012 provisional squad, but after the training with the national team, he failed to make the cut.

Nicknamed Vitas, the proud of Gelderland, Vitesse are a Dutch football club based in Arnhem. Vitesse compete in the Dutch Eredivisie and they have yet to win the national championship. However, they finished as runners-up in the Dutch elite division on five occasions (1897–98, 1902–03, 1912–13, 1913–14, 1914–15), while clinching third place in the standings in the 1997/1998 season.
Vitesse did remarkably well to win the 2016/2017 Dutch Cup title, with the team beating AZ Alkmaar in the final at De Kuip in Rotterdam. As a result, the Vitas booked their place in the Europa League group stages where they face the likes of Lazio, Nice and Zulte-Waregem.
Vitesse are well known for their yellow jerseys with black stripes, while the club’s away colour is black. GelreDome is the home ground of the Dutch team and the capacity of the venue is 21.248. It has to be noted that famous Spanish footballer Albert Ferrer was in charge of the club in the 2010/2011 season.
